Almanac of Bulgarian Professors and Researchers
We are creating the first comprehensive database of Bulgarian professors and researchers, both at home and abroad. Our goal is to build a platform for visibility, networking, and collaboration between Bulgarian faculty and researchers based outside of the country and those within Bulgaria.
We have identified over 1,000 Bulgarian professors and researchers at leading universities worldwide and are currently gathering information for inclusion in the Almanac. They work across a wide range of disciplines, with the strongest representation in STEM, business and economics, and medical and health sciences. Dozens of countries are represented, with the highest concentrations in the United States and the United Kingdom.
We aim to reach over 2,000 profiles of professors and researchers globally and within Bulgaria.
Assessment of the Needs of Bulgarian Higher Education
We are conducting a comprehensive review of the current state of Bulgarian higher education. Our goal is to propose both short-term and long-term improvements based on existing reports, studies, and in-depth interviews.
Collaboration and Masterclasses
Our goal is to strengthen collaboration between Bulgarian professors and researchers abroad and those in Bulgaria, specifically in teaching and the development of courses and educational materials.
This includes joint masterclasses (on-site or online), participation in summer schools, PhD mentorship, joint academic events, and the development of new pedagogical formats.
Based on our assessment of the needs of higher education and discussions with the researchers in our Almanac, we determine which areas to prioritize and where collaboration can achieve the most immediate and meaningful impact.
