The Think Forward foundation brings together Bulgarians around the world around the idea of a stronger Bulgaria. It works in the fields of higher education, entrepreneurship, and community building through initiatives such as the Almanac of Bulgarian Professors, the executive education program “Leaders Within,” and the internship program “Back to the Roots.” The team is small, the pace is fast, and the impact is tangible.
Short description of the position:
Intern “Initiatives and Community” – supporting the development of initiatives, communications, and community engagement through content creation, research, and organizational support.
Team: Depending on the candidate’s profile
Duration:
June–September 2026 (minimum 4 weeks, recommended 6–10 weeks)
Format:
Hybrid, Sofia
Example responsibilities (depending on the candidate’s profile and interests):
- Social media and content creation — developing posts, visuals, and campaigns for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Communications and marketing — supporting the positioning of the foundation and its initiatives
- Community building — working with the Circle platform, engaging members, and coordinating content
- Research and analysis — conducting research on topics such as higher education, the NGO sector, or entrepreneurship
- Operational support for ongoing initiatives — “Back to the Roots,” the Almanac, and the Annual Forum
Your profile:
- Ready to take real responsibility from day one — we are looking for people who want to actively contribute, not just observe
- Current student or recent graduate — all fields of study are welcome
- Interest in education, civil society, or entrepreneurship
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a small team
