On November 4 and 5, the New Bulgarian University (NBU) welcomed Prof. Ilian Mihov, former dean of INSEAD (2013-2023) and the current Rausing Chaired Professor of Economic & Business Transformation at INSEAD. As a part of an initiative by the Think Forward Foundation, he delivered four consecutive lectures attended by approximately 40 students from various academic programs.
Over two intensive morning sessions, the audience explored key topics ranging from trade wars and global imbalances to the middle-income trap, business cycles, and exchange rate regimes. Prof. Mihov combined theory with current examples, maintaining a vibrant dialogue with the students.
The lectures are part of Think Forward’s efforts to build natural bridges between Bulgarian professors abroad and the academic community at home.
